Finance first. Then the software.
I’m Drue Fourmont. I studied finance at Loyola Marymount — valuation, accounting, portfolio management, and a Bloomberg-run fund my team took to first place. I read a balance sheet before I write a line of automation.
I came up through the white-collar pipeline right as AI started rewriting it. I made a decision early: rather than compete with it, become native to it — and help businesses use it to stay ahead while the pace of change keeps accelerating.
Some of this is personal. I started at Summit Steel on shipping and receiving — forklift, inventory, the warehouse floor. Years later I came back as their consultant and built systems that run parts of their operation: a master inventory and purchasing workbook, supply-chain planning for their Solar Turbines work, and an AI workflow their team runs on their own.
That’s what DF Systems is. I build software and financial tooling for businesses, grounded in how the work actually happens.
